MyPDFX was designed from the ground up to fully respect your privacy. Before any legal detail, here is our promise to you, simply:

• Your files are never stored — they are processed instantly in memory, then automatically deleted the moment the operation finishes.
• No tracking, no ads, no selling your data — ever, to anyone.
• Fully encrypted connection (HTTPS) at every step of your journey with us.
• We collect the bare minimum — only your email to create an account.
• Built in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, governed by Saudi data-protection law.

We believe trust is earned through transparency, not empty promises — which is why we explain below, in honest detail, exactly how we handle your data.

At MyPDFX ("the Platform", "we", "us"), we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we process, how we handle your files, and who we share it with. MyPDFX is operated by a service provider registered as a freelancer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

1. We Do Not Store Your Files

This is the most important principle of our service:

• When you upload a file to use our tools (convert, merge, split, compress, sign, extract text), the file is processed in memory only for the duration of your request.
• We do not save your files on our servers, nor store them in any database or storage system.
• Once processing is complete and the result is delivered to you, your file data is automatically discarded from memory.
• We do not retain the content of your documents (no extracted text, tables, or images) after the operation finishes.

2. Processing of Certain Files via an External Provider

To deliver the highest quality in some tools (such as extracting text and tables from documents and images), we rely on a trusted external processing provider that meets international security standards. We believe telling you this openly is part of respecting your trust:

• When you use these specific tools, your document content is sent to this provider for immediate processing only, after which the result is returned to you.
• This is done over a secure, encrypted connection. Your document content is not used for any other purpose, nor to train any artificial-intelligence models.
• We do not keep any copy of your document content after processing.
• If your document contains highly sensitive information, the decision to upload it remains yours.
• You may request further information about our service providers by emailing support@mypdfx.com.

3. Personal Data We Store

When you create an account, we store only the following minimum:

• Your email (required to log in).
• Your name (optional, if provided).
• Your subscription type (free/paid) and your operation credit balance.
• A brief usage log containing counts only (e.g. number of pages processed) — without filenames or content.

Your password is stored securely and hashed via our authentication provider.

We do not collect: your IP address through our application, tracking data, advertising analytics, or device data.

4. Service Providers

To operate the platform, we rely on trusted service providers in the areas of hosting, infrastructure, authentication, and document processing. These providers are bound to process data only under our instructions and for the purpose of providing the service.

These providers may keep their own operational logs (which may include IP addresses at the infrastructure level) under their own terms — standard for internet services. Our application itself does not log this data.

5. Cookies

Our site uses only one functional cookie to keep you logged in (the authentication session cookie). We do not use any tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct or update your data.
• Delete your account and its associated data.
• Request the list of service providers we rely on.
• Contact us with any privacy-related inquiry.

7. Data Protection

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and password hashing. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security, and we prefer to be honest with you about this rather than make promises no one can keep.

Our service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The last-updated date will appear at the top of the page.

10. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
